Kaleidoscope Therapeutic Riding Program

Kaleidoscope a spectrum of Love and Support

Our Mission Statement

Kaleidoscope Therapeutic Riding Program was developed to foster independence, strength and growth in the minds and bodies of individuals with disabilities through equine assisted activities. The program is beneficial for children with physical, cognitive and/or emotional disabilities. The therapy enhances children’s self-esteem and improves balance, coordination, muscle tone and strength.

The show is open to riders with special needs of all ages. We will be offering two types of classes; an Equitation Class and an Obstacles Class.

EQUITATION– Classes will be run as a group of riders following simple instructions from the judge. Students will be judged on their position and their ability to control the horse.

OBSTACLES – Riders will be judged on their horsemanship, meaning position and effort to guide and control their mount.
